The Timor Sea has some of the best gamefishing in the world.
Due to very little commercial fishing and no other charter boats in this area, the ocean is abundant with numerous varieties of fish.
The Mahalo II is the perfect mother ship to host small groups of 6 fishermen. Our new 20 ft. fishing boat can easily handle 4 fishermen. In addition we have a 16 ft. center console alumenium boat that is comfortable for 2.
All styles of fishing are welcome. Heavy or light tackle trolling, working deep water bird piles, reef casting with poppers, bottom fishing and salt water fly fishing all produce great results. Commonly caught are dog tooth tuna,yellow fin,spanish mackerel,all species of travelly,mahi mahi, wahoo, sailfish and marlin. We are equipped with Shimano Tekota 800s'and Penn 6.0s'. Saltwater fly fisherman are encouraged to bring their own gear.
Warm dry weather, smooth seas in the lee, and plenty of fish will make any gamefisherman glad he made the decision to try this new fishing area.
