ACCOMMODATION & AMENITIES
Her aluminum exterior is unpainted for ease of maintenance, but she is all luxury on the inside. She is fully carpeted inside and out. All living areas are air-conditioned with individual temperature controls in each cabin.
Mahalo II has 3 levels. The lower level has two private guest cabins, accommodating 2 people in each. Aft there is a complete workshop/tool room, separate laundry room, 2 engine rooms containing the main engines, water maker, 2 generators {23 and 17 K.V.A.}, and a 4 stage dive compressor. The main deck is ocean-level with all-around view. There are 2 guest cabins accommodating 4 guests in each, a large living room area that easily seats 10 people, with a complete home entertainment system, including T.V., D.V.D, and C.D. player. This system is supported with a library of over 200 movies and 100 music C.D.s. A large modern stainless steel galley is just off the living area.
Outside is an open deck with a table, a large stainless steal B.B.Q., sitting benches, and swim-steps with a fresh water rinse off showers. Also there are 2 large bathrooms with a toilet, hot water showers and sinks. A water-maker means there is always plenty of pure fresh water for showering and drinking. This after-deck area is also used to store day boards overhead and stage into dinghys. The upper deck level has a huge lanai style sun shaded sitting area where guests view the surf, dine, and party. A home entertainment centre and full bar service complete the scene.
The bridge is the nerve centre of Mahalo II. State of the art systems includes 2 chart plotters, sat phone and fax, radar, S.S.B. radio, 2 G.P.S's, V.H.F. radio, 2 depth sounders, Autopilot, weather fax, and 2 computers with a scanner and printer. The captain's cabin is just aft of the bridge.
The Mahalo II has three dinghys, providing a total water taxi service for picking up and dropping guests to the surf, quick transfer to nearby surf spots and comfortable dry fishing. Our finest dinghy is a new 20ft center console aluminum game fisher powered by twin
60 hp Yamahas. The second dinghy is a 16ft. center console aluminum Zodiac style boat with a
60 hp Yamaha. The third dinghy is a 12ft. Zodiac with a 10 hip. engine. No other charter operation in Indonesia has a dinghy fleet to match this.
Because the safety of our guests is our top priority the Mahalo II is maintained to full Australian Charter survey. This means that once a year the boat is surveyed by Queensland Maritime Safety Board. All the safety systems, life rafts {2x25 man offshore life rafts}, fire suppression system life jackets, E.P.I.R.B.'s flares, navigation, electronics, machinery and hulls are checked and approved for charter operation. We carry a full offshore medical first aid kit and comprehensive Accident and Liability Insurance for all guests and crew.
